Should You Hire A Professional Copywriter To Write Your Investment Real Estate Property Listings?

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

If you are having trouble writing your real estate listings, a copywriter can help you avoid the process and can also produce great copy for your listings. However, you still need to hire the right writer and manage the work to get the results you want.

All investors at one time or another must come up with copy for investment real estate property listings. Anyone who has tried this exercise likely realizes that writing is not quite as simple as many people make it appear. Writing listings is especially difficult, because you need to worry about making misleading statements and you need to entice readers in just a few words. Let’s face it, trying to make the basic “two bedrooms, one bath” sound enticing is a tall order. That’s why many real estate investors eventually consider hiring a professional writer to write listings. There are many advantages top hiring a pro:

  • You never have to worry about writing listings again. This means that you can use your time (and energy) on activities that actually bring in money.

  • A professional has a fresh perspective. A writer has not spent hours looking at the property and thinking about it. He or she is unbiased and this can mean that he or she can find a fresh perspective that can make your listing more memorable.

  • A professional writer can make every word of your investment real estate property listings count. Writers work with words all the time, so they have rich vocabularies and a good sense of the subtle nuances of words. They can craft listings that can make your listings sing.

  • An experienced writer can keep you out of trouble. A writer who has written business copy or listings before understands the liability that comes with misleading and discriminatory statements. This sort of writer can pore over the copy until it is truthful.

While there are many advantages to hiring a writer, there are also some disadvantages to be wary of:

  • Not all writers are alike. Some can make your listings sing – some do a job that is only so-so – or worse.

  • A writer costs money. You will have to pay someone to write your listings, and some writers do charge a fair amount.

  • Hiring a writer takes time. Unless you know a professional writer yourself with the right experience, you will need to run an ad, sift through the responses and then interview and choose a candidate. Then, you will have to work with and manage the writer so that you get the copy you want. All of this can take as much time as writing the listings yourself.

  • You still need to communicate effectively. If you are struggling to write copy for investment real estate property listings because your ideas are not clear, you will have a hard time communicating to your writer exactly what you want.

Online Investing Bookmarks That Belong On Your Internet Browser

Friday, August 29th, 2008

Bookmarking online resources – such as mortgage calculators, online investing classes, and listings – lets you make the most of your Internet time and ensures that you don’t lose track of important web sites.

There are lots of online investing resources for the real estate investor. Keeping tabs on all of these resources is difficult at best, which is why the bookmark feature on your internet browser can be your best friend. The bookmark feature lets you mark specific pages or websites so that you can view them again with one click. You can even organize your bookmarked pages into categories so that you can easily find what you need. Here are some resources you will want to bookmark:

  • Google alerts. Google alerts is a wonderful tool because it allows you to be alerted about news right away. You can enter keywords – such as “real estate” or the name of a market you want to invest in – and every time a news story appears on that subject, you are sent a link via email

  • Online investing tools. Mortgage calculators, interest rate calculators, currency converters and the like are very useful when you are trying to crunch numbers and evaluate real estate deals. Find the best ones and bookmark them for easy access.

  • Real estate blogs. There are some blogs that give you great insights or make you smile. Bookmark them so that you can find them easily.

  • Time management resources. Online timers are a great way to ensure that you don’t spend too much time surfing the Internet or gabbing on the phone when you should be making deals. They are a great way to become more conscious about how you spend your time. You can also set up online alarms that ring and alert you of important times (such as when you need to leave for a meeting). Online planners and project managers are also great tools that let you stay organized.

  • Listings. If you are like many investors, you check several, so bookmark them all.

  • To read pages. You’ve found a great page about taxes or a wonderful online article about marketing techniques. You don’t have time to read it now, but you don’t want to lose the URL? Bookmark it and you can easily find it later. Just make sure you clear out your “to read” bookmarked items regularly or they will expand and disorganize all your bookmarks.

  • Email pages and other pages you log onto regularly. Bookmarking them makes them a snap to find so that you are not always typing in URL after URL.

  • Online investing courses. As an investor, you need to brush up on your skills and even learn some new tricks. There are online classes you can take (and bookmark) and university programs online that you can bookmark so that you can enroll later.

How does $65,100.00 in 39 days sound?

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

Hi Everyone,

Quickly – as described in my email earlier…

I’ve got the PROOF you’ve been looking for.

We’ll get to that in a moment though
as there’s one important element I
want to bring to your attention…

Because as an investment syndicator,
you could be adding zero’s to your
bank account or bottom line in record time.

(read: weeks, not months)

To invest like this, means you’re:

NOT Using Your Cash…

NOT Using Your Credit…

Doing This From A Computer…

…and there’s …

NO Experience Required.

Here’s a quote from a husband
and wife syndication team…

<><><><><><><>
In only 39 Days after leaving Brad’s Colorado event, we’ve syndicated 2 deals where our total cash profits stand at $65,100.00.

As first time investors, in a down market, we never thought people could do this…but already we’re now in contract with our team syndicating two more deals totaling $385 MILLION!”
                               – Layne & Denise Morford, Stockton
<><><><><><><>

There it is…and we’ve got more to
share with you tomorrow.

To Massive Profits,
Brad Wozny

P.S. We’re set to “Go Live” tomorrow at 12pm Eastern.

That’s 9am Pacific.

You’ll want to be near your computer and
look at for an email from me, because it
will show you POWERFUL PROOF of
how you could literally add more zero’s to
your bottom-line,
in a matter of weeks
(not months).

As a syndicator

It all takes place at NOON Eastern time tomorrow.

P.P.S. Before you go…

Need More Proof?

I’ve got one more free training item to
share with you:-)

In fact, you can Watch This FREE training Video
on doing a deal that could make you
upwards of 6 FIGURES in 6 Hours of
“work” that involved sending a few emails,
a fax, and mailing a document.

(actually, the total was $93,549.48 profit)

Please excuse if the video takes a moment
to load as this email is going out to over
ten thousand investors and many are probably
hitting the server at once.

Also, I recorded this on my computer so
understand, I’m no Steven Spielberg.

What you’ll see here is one my favourite
techniques for Cashing Out of deals Quickly
with very little risk.

(and doing this from hundreds of miles away).

Enjoy the Video

Dealing With Writer’s Block on Your Website For Real Estate Investors

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

If you are creating regular content for a real estate website, you may encounter writer’s block. Fight it by coming up with ideas before you write, by hiring a writer from time to time and by using different sorts of content and media on your site.

If you have a website for real estate investors, you likely already know how important frequent updates are. Frequent content updates keep your visitors returning, keep your site relevant, and keep those search engine rankings reasonable. The problem, of course, is that churning out content day after day and month after month can be pretty hard on your reserves of creativity. Here are some ways you can keep your content fresh:

1) Plan ahead. The biggest reason for writer’s block is that writers run out of something to say. You’re pounding the keyboard, coming up with new things to say and suddenly you have nothing to say. Coming up with that initial idea is usually the most challenging part of writing, and without that initial idea you just end up staring at a screen. That’s why it’s a good idea to have a list or notebook of possible topics for your web site articles and content.

2) Keep your idea bank stocked. If you’re writing a website for real estate investors, you should be reading about real estate, looking at real estate blogs, and interacting with the world of real estate. Each time you come across a subject that gives you pause, write it down. Clip articles in magazines and newspapers – they can be a great jumping-off point for an article of your own.

3) Hire someone else for a while. Sometimes, getting away from writing for a bit gives you a fresh perspective and more energy for content when you come back to your site. Your visitors might also enjoy a fresh new voice. Of course, you might find after a vacation that you have no desire to write for your site again. In that case, you can hire a writer and never worry about writer’s block again.

4) Mix up your media. Not all content has to be written. Yes, currently only written media is searchable by search engines, but search engines aren’t everything. There are also your visitors to think about – they might appreciate images or videos for a while. And videos and pictures don’t require hours at the keyboard.

5) Find something that interests you. One reason why writing content for a website for real estate investors becomes such a burden is that investors write what they feel they should write. They don’t want to offend or they feel that “real” writing is very formal. Once in a while, let down your hair and write a letter to your readers about a topic that you are passionate about.

Home Buyers – How To Find Motivated Real Estate Buyers (FREE Video – Seen It?)

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

Hey Everyone,

As you’re probably aware, Home sellers and rookie investors are feeling the pinch of a lifetime, given the fact that many markets are teeming with foreclosed houses.

In fact…it sounds like Everyone is screaming for…

“MOTIVATED HOME BUYERS!”

Need a solution?

Then take a few moments and  watch this highly detailed FREE training video now.

You see, a few years ago when the national real estate market was red hot, savvy investors were aggressively marketing to find motivated home SELLERS…Investors that were able to land the deals did quick flips for nice profits.

But it’s all changed…

In today’s stressed out markets, there’s practically  a motivated SELLER on every street corner begging for someone to buy their property.
The U.S. will soon be awash in homes for sale.

It doesn’t take a hit along side the head for investors to understand that now is the time to know how to find motivated home BUYERS!

It has been so long since anyone had to search for buyers that it has almost become a lost art. I have a friend who’s a 3rd generation real estate
investor, who goes by the name of Mark Walters.

Considering his family’s been investing in real estate since 1937, they’ve had first hand experience with the good and the bad of many different real estate markets.

They’ve learned over the years to “adapt or die!”

Mark has learned to simply change a few techniques to succeed in whatever real estate market is thrown at him.

Don’t kid yourself.

If you’re struggling right now, then you will be Dead Meat if you just keep doing what was working over the last 5 years.Because you absolutely must be able to find home BUYERS!

The investors that master the trick of consistently finding buyers are going to have the key to the vault for the next few years.

My pal Mark has just put together an incredible Webinar (web-seminar) titled…

“How To Find All The Motivated Home Buyers You Can Handle!”

Check it out here

I’ve personally seen his training and have to tell you he goes into incredible detail on a whole range of *killer* techniques.

You can continue generating real estate income by scooping up homes from financially distressed sellers… and flipping them to your list of hungry buyers. He even goes so far as to show you how to automate the process and find Virtual Assistants to do most of the work for you!

(This technique alone in itself is utterly priceless.)

Enjoy the video

To Massive Profits,
Real Estate Investor Tips.com

P.S. If you thought you were going to be blown out of real estate investing just because
there are 23 homes for every buyer…think again..

You will quickly change your mind when you watch this video training…

P.P.S. This will help you CRANK UP your real estate investing business BIG TIME!
